Lois served in senior executive positions in non-profits and associations for 35 years. Most recently, she was Executive Director of the American Academy of Optometry and the American Academy of Optometry Foundation for more than two decades.
At the Academy, Lois worked with boards, members, and staff to grow membership by 160%, annual meeting attendance by 188%, and assets by more than 900%!
Throughout her career, Lois led boards and staff in future visioning, guided board development, improved governance, and advised on policy creation and implementation. Lois has developed fund-raising capacity and significantly increased corporate and individual support for associations and other non-profits.
